Almost 6 years ago, Circle Square Diamond designed and created our first trail art print. With over 300 prints in our collection, Circle Square Diamond has become one of the largest sources for minimalist mountain-based artwork. Today, we’re really excited to be taking to the sky and moving in a new direction (well – okay, they only go in two directions, up and down hill). We’ve partnered with Steve Ash to create some stunning pieces of modern artwork.
Circle Square Diamond is proud to announce the Ski Lifts series with the launch of eight designs highlighting: Aspen, Courchevel, Heavenly, Jackson Hole, Kicking Horse, Snowbird, Tignes and Whistler Blackcomb.
Available in 3 sizes and starting at $20, this print series expands on our existing collections of minimalist winter and summer artwork making Circle Square Diamond the source for a curated collection of modern and minimalist artwork dedicated to mountains.
About the prints:
Inspired by the beautiful designs of ski lifts, the series highlights the individuality and uniqueness of several gondola and aerial trams from ski resorts around the world. While many resorts share manufacturers, the designs of the individual gondolas and aerial tramway cars carry a certain design aesthetic that many can identify a mile away.
From the classic 1970s technology that powers the “1-star” Snowbird Aerial Tram, to the since retired Courchevel Oeufs Poma SP4 gondolas, each print carefully details the components and designs that make the gondolas unique. Details from the cable catchers, brittle bars, carriers, detachables, grips and vehicle wraps are all prominently displayed on the print with a modern and clean design aesthetic.
All the posters are printed on high quality 10.3mm thick Epson Enhanced Matte Paper using Epson UltraChrome HDR ink-jet technology. Every poster has gone through a quality control check to ensure that the prints are printed to museum quality specifications.
